Handsome. Looks like an old Marx model. That would be marked on the bottom.

I think you're right Erich, It does look like a Model Power car. I have a MP Baby Ruth boxcar that looks similar to your NH one.

| It could be any one of the following three as I have examples of each and they all are of the same mold: older Bachmann, AMH and more recently Model Power. On the AMH one the flat square behind the one truck has AMH on it. The others did not display the name but had the original boxes when I got them.

Ha ha, I've been saying THAT for years, and then weekend before last, I hit my local flea at a church site, and lo and behold, a 20' hopper and a excess height stock car minus chassis. Paid $1 for both. In all my years living in my area, first time I think for pretty much anything HO related train-wise.

I always said the same thing about flea markets for years, but in 2008 at a FM in Ohio I found a complete Tyco Bubble Yum set in it's original box. I bught it for $25.00...

oooo Walt! You "stole" that set CHEAP nice score The Bubble Yum set is rare Right?  Worse I got a few weeks ago was those cheap cable car & trolley car for $1 in the box Have uber too many of them  When I go to train shows or this one LHS in Westminster(Denver)I look for cheap locos & cars at both places I did get that one track cleaning loco by Bachmann for $10 at the LHS  What they LHS has for the most part is in the box Lionel HO Lotta the cheap stuff they has broken or missing parts
