If you look at this catalog you'll notice that the Durango Geep has Alco style trucks. Can anybody confirm this from their collection? I though I had found one on the net but I think the sideframes had been switched. I do have an ICG GP20 wth the same trucks and the early version power torque trucks and "fang" couplers boxes. I have seen this engine many times at auction.

1. Alco Trucks Are Called AAR Trucks. 2. This Isnt Much of A Stretch. Southern had Some GP35s With AARs. 3. There Is Another Post On This.

well I have that set & about 5 or 6 of the cattle cars Do need the later streamlined caboose then my Durango set is complete

Thanks for the input. I probably wrote the earlier post on this. I don't remember that we had settled anything at that time and since I thought I was getting one, as earlier described from the 'bay recently but didn't, I thought it appropriate to test the waters again. It is an interesting aspect of Tyco collecting to find variations of locos and otherewise. Tyco never made a GP35. GM&O had GP30s with "Alco type B trucks" as noted in the Second Diesel Spotters Guide.
