Noticed in the TYCO resource reference on C430's there wasn't an original boxed IC 430 to draw the stock number from. My NOS brown-box IC 430 is straight off the hobby shop shelf. It has the old white cardstock insert instead of foam and the stock number is the same as the later ICG: 235J.
The printed label (not stamped), black on light brown background reads: "ALCO CENTURY 430 POWERED - LIGHTED ILLINOIS CENTRAL 235J:1600"
FYI the Trains Resource and hat's off, again, to Mr. Cook's remarkable effort.
