Count me in the clean as a whistle rolling stock clan, catfordken. That orange and black car is so striking, can't see a need to hide it under grime. For my COTW the choice was tough but there could be only one winner:
The Athearn 40' Preibe car, a fine eggsample of the classic wood reefer. Nothing against the Union tanker (the winning margin was poultry!), it just lacks the eggelance of America's Finest. Okay, no more eggcruciating puns, I promise. Nanoo-nanoo.

My haul for the summer from the San Antonio Model Railroad Association show this weekend. An MDC Heinz Pickle car for $10 and a dirty box of 8 truss bridges for $1.


This is the first day that I've done anything with the hobby since I started work again a few months back. The hours are killing me! I really miss it and I miss coming here to see what y'all are up to.

Got this from Jeremy but this is what UP painted for the US Bicentennial instead of a loco like most every US railroad did Do not know who made it tho
