feel the rails under the wheels. By the way,
El Paso has taken its PCC trolleys out of
storage and is building a little loop that will
go up and down a steep little grade (maybe 8%)
from the University campus to the downtown
area. $45,000,000. Going to take some
ridership to recoup that price tag.

This antique coach has seen service for many decades. It has since been shipped out to West Texas for renovation.
The people at Jeff's Chop Shop have restored railroad items for years. Seen recently at Ashland Virginia before heading west.
Hopefully it will be filled with happy tourists on its future runs fully restored.

* Here at Bergen Point up town in the Centerville section is the 34 street station. ( A Atlas station ) with two buildings to its south. The closest is a Faller House from 1957. It is not from a kit but factory assembles in Germany by Faller. The Faller catalog number is 287. The Faller name for it is "Mountain Home". The next house to the left is another Faller building. Again factory assembled. It is Numbered 257, and its name is "House with garage". This home is with only a one car garage. It is also made with a 2 car garage. I think it had the same number.

Restaurant Mascot Has Paranormal Close Call
Scottsbluff, Nebraska
On Tuesday afternoon, a local man reports he was walking home from his job as a card flipper for A&W restaurants, when
out of nowhere, the Hogwarts Express suddenly materialized just yards from him, forcing him to dive for his life to avoid
becoming hamburger meat himself. The train rushed by and dematerialized just as suddenly as it appeared. "I've never
seen anything like it!' the man exclaimed. "The world just dissolved and then I found myself out in the countryside some-
where with this huge train just bearing down on me. And then just as quickly, it disappeared!" The man, whose identity

Pulling sixteen cars in Royalston Ohio.
Seen as well is a four car set pulled by a small Burlington switcher.
My friend took a cab to nearby downtown Cincinnati Ohio to see a Reds baseball game.
The Reds won that game.

Locomotive Intentionally Rolled from Tracks
Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Railroad employees took drastic action Monday morning after a locomotive running light suffered catastrophic
engine failure less than an hour before ElectroMotive Division's new Aerotrain demonstator was due to pass
though Scottsbluff on it's inaugural test run. Understanding the urgency of the situation, maintenance crews
were on the scene within minutes of the incident. When interviewed, the maintenance foreman stated that the
Road Foreman of Engines had told him directly, "I Don't care what you have to do, just get it done! If that
Aerotrain is delayed, there'll be h*** to pay!" With the Aerotrain just minutes away, the decision was made by
the maintenance foreman to roll the incapacitated engine off the tracks. When the Road Foreman of Engines
was questioned about the incident, he denied any involvement and stated that the entire incident is under
investigation by the railroad, and that the maintenance foreman had been suspended without pay until the
matter is resolved.

Late Breaking Update on Locomotive Intentionally Rolled from Tracks
Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Investigators looking into the case of a locomotive rolled from the tracks have noticed a trailer in the background of a photograph taken at the scene of the investigation. They have announced a theory that, "some horseplay has been involved."
Another theory, pronounced the same, but spelled differently suggests that, "some horseplay has Ben involved."

I have a few trollys I run once in a while, but it really bothers me that I have no overhead wire.
I love the idea of trollys converted to solar power! I can live with takiing off the poles and running them with no guilt. I might even put on a few solar panels on the roofs to further the idea!

Solar powered trolley units are necessary for better air quality for everyone.
This next photo shows Jeff at the local pizzeria shop daydreaming.
He spots the local freight train set dropping off his favorite drinks at the shop.
He thinks of hitching a ride on the train to parts unknown.
However the sweet aroma of a freshly made pizza pie changes his mind.
He heads back inside to devour the first fresh slice with more to come.
Perhaps one day he will take that trip beyond Robles Pass Texas and see what is out there.

I've been on assignment at the PWG Saylorsburg PA. facility. Just back yesterday In time to see some Lehigh Valley RR diesels rolling in and out of the Service area here in Bergen Point. LVRR RS3 210, and SW8 265 are seen here in these views.
* 210 came off of a ready track, rode the turntable heading over for fuel and sand. Then exited yard for the days work.
Next PUP 265 came in with loaded hoppers to top off coal in bunkers.

These next photos show a New Haven SD unit making an unscheduled stop in Shelton Creek Connecticut.
The crew heard about inclement weather in the area with many lightning strikes.
They took shelter in the station while the storm passed through the area.
After a two hour delay they continued toward New Haven Connecticut.
I photographed some of the colorful cars outside Shelton after the heavy rain passed through.
The sun came out to bring out the colorful consist.
Another nice day in southern New England after the rainfall.
Never a dull moment here in paradise.

PGW also has a display of items used during the metroliners 47 year operation.
Has a traveling informative museum for everyone to learn about the metroliner.
The Frankford Shops vast collection of employees are always innovators in technology.
They are enthusiastic about sharing our important railroad heritage for todays visitors.

The next day a Southern Pacific set arrived in Marietta.
It is part of a collection that will be here for the next three weekends.
There will be shows and attractions for all to enjoy.
Later the F unit left the station for storage in the nearby yards.
Very colorful set seen today.

The next night some of us went to the photo session set up by the employees of Southern Railroad.
Various vintage diesel engines visited the town for photography.
Thank you for setting up this night photography session in beautiful Marietta Georgia.

After the engines were stored away we took pictures of various passenger cars in Marietta.
