| More up at the mentioned Facebook page. Just my IHC/Mehano Tyco style caboose. And a few Athearn pieces. Man this is going to take a while. Sorry I will never get an actual layout. But whatever.

| Since you cannot edit: https://www.facebook.com/j.damon.2024/ I have more boxed items images. Nothing grand but part of my collection, this is going to take forever.

Don't remember if I put this one up. Not my best work and I was never able to match the gray for the roof. But here is my home made track cleaning car, built out of a Mask set 2 axle caboose. The weird coupler removed and an Athearn coupler in it's place. Actually works too.

And after buying a set of handrails, plus the parts I already had on hand. It comes out to $12 per diesel, now lets see someone find a Golden Eagle, running and with handrails for $12 on eBay. Here they are still running today.

The Model Power locomotive is the old Pemco C430. Notice the odd placement of the cab windows in relation to the roof curve. It is a flaw that makes the whole model look off. I have passed many a Model Power C430 by because of this. The Golden Eagle shows where the windows should be in relation to the roof, and the Tyco C430 also has the proper look. Put a fuel tank from the Tyco C630, or one from an Atlas C425 on a Tyco C430 and you have a passable model of the real thing.

Thanks for the info, and your right on most counts. the model power was designed for who knows what reason, not realistic by any means. These just remind me of the Santa Fe that was in the last Tyco train sets. As far as putting a c630 tank on a c430, yeah I noticed most had the type of the c630, in fact I have in my lineup of customs to finish a c430 with c630 tanks. But when I look at the Tyco c430 as is I think of this image, correct to a point, but there were other tanks on the c430. Good thing I'm not a rivet counter, I'm just in this for fun, a hobby.
