It’s actually the second Clyde Beatty Circus version I’ve ever seen.

I attended a train show in Cleveland Saturday and slid down the slope a little further.

First off, I added to the Mantua/Tyco reefer collection.  A proper Red Box Swift with open corner steps and screwed-on trucks:

When I first realized I wanted to collect all the Red Box reefers I already had a Kraft example, and in the 10+ years since I’ve never seen another one until now:

Second off, here be some more quad hoppers.

A Bachmann M&StL in the Minimalist scheme:

I already had a Bachmann in the Minimalist Union Pacific scheme, but here be another Bachmann in the Minimalist Union Pacific scheme, but from different tooling:

And finally, here be a Bachmann in the proper Union Pacific scheme:

And fourthly, I found a second hard-to-find green version of the Tyco CP Rail 50ft plug door boxcar!

Oddly, the inside of the shell appears to have both red and yellow paint overspray, but there’s no red or yellow paint on the outside (obviously). The lettering and Multimark are tampo printed so the car appears to have come from the factory this way.

you know you can put in multiple pix in the same thread
don't have to make alot of individual threads
plus if you make a miztaek you can go back & correct it

Umm…if you notice, Busss, I put multiple pix in the post about the hoppers.  And further, you’ll also notice there’s 15-20 minutes between posts.  I didn’t do it all at once.

And are you suggesting I made a mistake?

Yesterday’s antique mall find:

This is only the fourth Mantua/Tyco operating hopper lettered for the Pennsy I’ve ever come across in over a decade suffering from TOHD. It’s only the third one I’ve acquired though.
