I mentioned way earlier that I have a Coca-Cola triple dome tanker packed away somewhere. I finally stumbled across it:
Also, I mentioned way earlier in some thread, maybe this one, maybe not, that when I was a kid I repainted a Tyco Union 76 single dome tanker black to represent the black tankers I saw in real life. Ben asked to see it. I finally stumbled across it too. Ben, here it is:

I don’t think I‘ve ever posted this one before either, for the same reason:
This is from my childhood collection, and it inspired the collection of 40ft hi-cubes I now have, since I had to get a 40ft Soo Line hi-cube to go with this 62ft one.

More ACF CenterFlow insanity!
I think this is an AHM:
It’s constructed like an AHM, but I can’t find any examples online that exactly match this car’s data.

Interesting CF hopper. While riding the Sunset Limited into El Paso this afternoon, I first noticed a pile of wheels and axles piled haphazardly near the yard throat. A minute later came upon four or five CF hoppers lying on their sides, one spilling grain. The trucks were completely vanished. Looked like they had flopped over where they lay.

My second visit to Hilltop Hobby Shop in Akron, Ohio:
Another Varney/Life-Like flat:
I have at least one other silver NYC version, but one is not enough. Maybe they have different car numbers…
Another quad hopper, of unknown manufacture:
There’s a pad on the bottom of the underframe where the original manufacturer’s mark was removed. I have another in Penn Central Jade, but again, one is not enough.
They could be different…
And lastly, a Mantua/Tyco Holly Sugar operating hopper:
I probably already have at least half a dozen of these, but again…

From an antique mall in Canton, Ohio today:
A Tyco quad hopper lettered for Burlington Route. I already have an example of this one, but it’s one I put together from parts I found in a junk box at a model train show. This one is pristine.

Another foray into Akron to visit Hill Top Hobby Shop…
I already have the complete set of Tyco pulpwood cars, but my old Chattanooga Railroad example is missing a corner stirrup. This here new Chattanooga Railroad example has ‘em all:

…and the quad hopper nonsense continues…
Here are two examples from Bachmann’s minimalist (i.e. cheap) period:
I may already have these, but one can always use more, right?

Now this one is part of a set that I’ve had for years, but it’s been in storage so no picture until now:
This one is also Bachmann but better designed, having corner stirrups with a finer cross section and body mounted knuckle couplers. It’s also not in Bachmann’s minimalist tradition.

Nice photos Glenn. Some collection you have.
Not exactly a slippery slope situation but I do have an extra stock and searchlight car. Still satisfied with the results.

That one would be the upgraded car from the train sets. These types of car can often be found cheap on Bachmann's website under "Warehouse FInds." The individually sold Silver Series cars take the improvements a step further, with proper NMRA weight and metal wheelsets. They are some of the best running cars on the market, right out of the box.

Scored my second L&N Life-Like/Varney flat car:
Same road number as the first.
And here’s the latest addition to the Hi-Cube collection - a Lionel Illinois Central Gulf:
I believe this is the first Lionel ICG in my collection.
