here is an odd locomotive for sale on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bachman-41-721-HO-Scale-Southern-Pacific-Lines-2314-Steam-Engine-Smoking/383551925588?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D225073%26meid%3D4dae3174292c4bc0ac2bf65ecead0a78%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dnone%26sd%3D392783969920%26itm%3D383551925588%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26brand%3DBachmann&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A24469728-b631-11ea-90bd-74dbd180449d%7Cparentrq%3Ae6fd8fa01720ad4d79a06330fff25559%7Ciid%3A1

I was confused when I first saw that too. It's bachmann's USRA 0-6-0 with a unique 4 wheel pilot truck and that enourmous tender. It must have only been produced for a short time.
Did you hear about Wyatt's Workbench?

Indeed. I do feel as if he is overreacting though. Just because you are going to a new school does not mean you wont have a life anymore. And besides, isnt it summer? I'm sure once he gets going with his new school he will realise that he overreacted a bit. Hopefully.
I did want to make wyatt the 0-6-0 for my series as well. I'm trying to get his gmail so I can at least ask him what color the loco should be.

To be honest, it looks like a Prairie with a very comically wrong tender and pilot wheels jammed up front. Remember much of what is on ebay is being sold by people who are clearing out Parent's or Grandparent's household goods, including trains. Look how many people post trains that they have no idea if something works or even what it is. Similarly, pieces can be mismatched and boxed up in odd ways, such as that specimen.
For kicks, here is one of my creations- I'm calling it a rare pre-production Tyco "Welcome Wagon", but see if you can identify its component parts.

In 20 years when my collection goes up for sale, the guys newer in the hobby will be going bananas over some of my one of a kinds and mis-matched creations.
Remember- Just because it fits in a train box, doesn't mean it is what the box says it is!

True, but I have seen that bachmann loco before with that odd pilot truck and tender. It is something bachmann produced.
El rojo grande, that is hilarious! I love it! Is the bottom a big hook crane base?

It is the crane base! Good eye. And a lot of 1:72 aircraft parts and HO Mini-Tanks bits.
Can you post a link for another loco like at the start of this thread? I’m just a wee skeptical that it is a factory set like that, but who knows? I’ll have to check the HOSeeker site for their collection of catalogs and published literature
