Jouef lot, SNCF C6505 "Boken Nose" electric/some wear, missing a set of buffers, not the best of runners--postal car---baggage car...$20 for the lot shipped...SOLD

I've been looking at these Russian? broken noses some, they're quite interesting. What exactly are the "buffers" that are missing? Does it affect the running? Still, count the lot as SOLD, PM me,I can do a Paypal for them.

Buffers are those "thumb tack" looking thingies on the front. They're cosmetic only. "Broken Nose" is the nickname they got for their unique looking cabs. They were used on the French national railways for many years, as loved as our GG1s over here. We tried them back in the 70s for Amtrak where they got the nickname "French Fries". We didn't buy any and the one sent for testing was returned. Thank you for buying them.
