I had sworn up, and down, no more locomotives, and definitely not any more Tyco locomotives, which
require a bit of TLC. Then Tracker posted this and I pitched him an offer he couldn't refuse, because
it just nabbed me because I've never seen anything like it and I like to collect Amtrak.

Well your in luck, because that's a Mantua. It has a screw type MU-2, which is probably one of the best types of DC motors on the HO market.

My LOTW will be my Shop C630 and the EVRR C430 as they haul some freight on -20°F Minnesota day.



It hasn't gotten above zero where I live for seven consecutive days, with temperatures around -36°F at night. When it's so cold that you get frostbite from being outside for five minutes, staying inside a warm house and doing some model railroading is the ideal option.

Beautiful stuffs: both custom and classic Tyco lead the fleet. That
kind of weather is insanely cold.
