Lovely old Pola American Type testing out Mormon's Gulch. The motor is in the cab, so makes for a much better arrangement than the traditional Bachmann version.

Nice old-fashioned steamer, Chops!
Gonna double-dip on LOTW this week, with 2 recent AHM/Rivarossi steam locomotive additions. Up first, A.T.S.F. 0-8-0 #102.
Then, an A.T.S.F. 0-6-0

I'll see if I can make this a bit more complicated. This engine is a 2-4-0 which wheel arrangement is called "Porter." That's a bit confusing, because Porter is also a brand of locomotive, and not the brand of this particular locomotive whose prototype was built by Baldwin, not Porter. The particular prototype was the Virginia and Truckee's locomotive "J. W. Bowker", which name got changed to "Mexico" after the V&T fired its namesake, Mr. Bowker.
