More remarkable PC vids. You know it’s rough when two or three baggage cars trailed by one coach. Very interesting assemblages of mixed coaches and odd lash ups. I was wondering if the double and triple headers of E units was to serve as back ups if one or more units failed enroute or if it was a union work rule to use a number of crew

Love those units- sublime art work of a valiant attempt to save a crumbling dynasty, thanks to Ike and his interstates. The PC wife beater t shirt not hard on the eyes, either!

We all heard about these famous newspaper posts.
The Washington Post The New York Post The Pittsburgh Post The St Louis Post The Saturday Evening Post and others.
They are all ham and eggers compared to ...
From start to finish this is the yardstick. The yardstick where all others are compared to.

Ah, yes, forgot about that PC scheme. Only used on the former NH FL9's.

Highly enjoyable. PC was the railroad of my youth. Even though it had many troubles, it was a great fascination. Competing against the Federally funded Interstate Highway system, and Federally subsidized airports, it never had a chance.

The boxcar was found on an abandoned siding. I'm fairly close to Shippensburg, and a friend and club member had taken some pictures of it in it's found condition. I'll see if he can send them to me. It was a pretty neat story.
