Basically what the title says and post some pictures of them, too! Anyway, here's mine. Sorry if this is a lot like my Tyco freight car thread I posted a while back.
A Tyco Chattanooga 2-8-0 from between 1975 and 1977. It runs ok but needs oil.

My favorite is an MU-2 powered, F-7 that was in my first HO train set. Like many of you here I bought that first set in the late 60's with paper route money.
It started life as an ATSF freight hauler in the "cat whisker" scheme. It was repainted into the L&N's "pine tree" scheme by me many years later. It then got a B unit of some make painted to match it so that we could pull big freight.
I still get her off of the shelf every now and then and run it around the tracks; listening to that sweet sound that a MU-2 makes when running well; you know, kind of a whine.

kovacs, my favorite Tyco locomotive is the Milwaukee Road E7. I usually don't go for the chrome plated look on locos or rolling stock but that one really works for me with that color scheme and on a big diesel like that one. Will get one someday but for now, this is the only Tyco loco on my roster - a Santa Fe GP-20 I found laying in a box of railroad stuff at an antique store in Ohio. Runs pretty good, too, for a Power Torque

I've seen one of those very similar to that one at a train show for $35 and almost got it. An old Tyco Mantua 1890 locomotive. Here's a picture of the one I saw. Ran ok though. I kinda regret not getting it. Anyway, here's the picture.
I posted this picture because this would've been my favorite Tyco locomotive I own if I got it.

It's hard for me to pick a clear favorite, but this Hudson began life as a Tyco Pacific back in 1971. It does yeoman service on the layout and looks good doing it.

Steam wise would be my Royal Blue 2-8-0 that I bought off Gmoney a little while back.
Redid the tender drive with new brushes, replaced 4 of the wheels, and added additional weights.
Diesel wise would have to be my Chessie Alco 630. Mechanically overhauled. All the wheels removed, brass sides fully cleaned, repaired the 2 main wires, expanded the bearings with a file, lubricated then bam, great runner.

One of my favorite Tyco engines is electric, not steam or diesel. the GG1 for some reason attracts me, I guess because of it's storied history and longevity, which set records that may never be broken. It's just a very visually attractive motive unit, and I hope to get one DCC'ed this year to run at my club's public functions.

The tender has the ATSF stuff. Why? Are you asking because you think it might be the Disneyland train that happens to be rare? I did see one at my show but it was missing the funnel and I think the cab.

Split on my favorite. Both are PowerTorques, and both run great (with proper maintenance)! I know the Long Island RR is not factory - its still a Tyco!

That is a really tough question, but if I had to run back into the burning house and
grab one Tyco locomotive, it would be this. Runner up would be the GG1,
where I installed two Vamp motors.

Where did you get that Santa Fe locomotive from? It is indeed a Tyco product, their logo is on the box in very small lettering. This product looks like it was made for an Asian market, perhaps for Japan on South Korea. I have never seen that style of Tyco packaging, clever use of an Amtrak Silver Meteor or Auto train schedule for art work. Also note the Amtrak map inside that medallion on the upper left hand corner of the box. I would like to see a close up of that medallion to see what the text says.

Sorry I took a while to respond - holidays!
The Super 630 AT&SF was a gift from my wife sometime in the early 90's - she worked at Model Power for a long time (Lol I didn't know she worked there when we met - she told me she was an administrative assistant in an office. I found out a few months later (Lucky Me!)) They had alot of old stock in their warehouse (which was an old aircraft hanger) and she knew I collected items from the manufacturers I grew up with (Tyco, AHM, Athearn, Bachmann etc). She would surprise me with items here and there from the 'hanger'. Inside story about it - Before Model Power acquired all of Mantua's product and molds they did not produce any items that had not been produced before - meaning items were either produced by other manufacturers (like the RF-16 Sharknose A&Bs & EMD E7/9 A&Bs which were produced by Roco and repackaged or the Budd passenger cars made by Lima and repackaged) OR they would take an already produced item and copy it (like the ore cars - they were a copy of the Atlas ore car or the Alco C628 which was a copy of the Bowser product). They never worked off blueprints. I figure this was an item they acquired through a back channel and were looking to possibly produce but never did.
The Long Island Super 630 was a custom paint I bought at a show in 1988. The Long Island Rail Road ran past my house growing up - none of the manufacturers really produced anything in that road because of royalty issues with the MTA - with the exception of a Model Power RS-11 (which the LIRR never had and production was stopped after four months (royalty) and Mantua who produced an F7A which had the correct colors but the lettering and logo were way off.
