This one kinda blows my mind, I thought BuddyL was a real early train from the 20's or 30's, but this looks like a diesel shunter to me, so how did this get modeled ? Later edition, maybe? At $900, I couldn't bring it home with me, but a neat piece.

Yes that Buddy L switcher was made in the 30's. It was part of the Buddy L Industrial train sets of the era,and modeled after small gas/mechanical locomotives used in lumber mills,gravel works,etc...
