I have an old Santa Fe GP-20 that stopped running long ago. I have disassembled it as far as I dare to remove the front truck with the motor. There does not seem to be visible way to remove the rear truck. Any ideas? Its probably been asked before, but how can one find replacements for these parts?
Thanks,

Ask...and ye shall receive...
The only place to find them QUICKLY is eBay...pick up an identical Santa Fe GP20 to yours, frankenstein it...instant parts source.
However... There is a hobby shop in Australia that has numerous NOS parts.

| Thanks for the information regarding the parts. Don't suppose there's a PDF of a diagram lying around somewhere! Anyway, I've deceided the easiest solution would be to find another GP-20, a working one that is, and transplant the power truck to mine. It's just a matter of waiting for the right one on ebay.

I'm working on a new section to the website that will in the near future offer exploded diagrams and parts lists for various TYCO items. Don't have in my possession all the materials yet...if I had the GP20 I would e-mail it to you now...when I get 'em I'll send ya a copy directly. Please post an updated request on this thread in about 10-days to remind me as I should have the copies then.

| I will take you up on that diagram offer. I took a look at that Australian website and I am tempted to order some parts. However, I would need to see a diagram to know exactly what I need. I have disassembled the forward truck as far as I care to go. Those rivets were a real challenge. I'm afraid I may have bent the "engine block" in the struggle. No matter, the motor didn't work anyway. I did get a good look at the motor and the gears though. I might try to build a motor, if I knew the names of all the parts. That's where the diagram would come in handy. Thanks.
