While at Spring Carlisle (PA) Friday, I ran across this vendor, didn't hear any of his horns blow, but it looks awesome. Website and phone info is in the pictures, if anyone wants it.

All in all, a great show, I actually left early ( 2 PM ) because both my friend and I were tired of walking. If I'd been by myself, I'd probably have pushed on another couple hours. Oh well, great day to be off work, anyway!

Would like to have one for my truck. Didn't think they were legal for street use.
Hope you don't mind if I interject a story on your thread... I read an article about this guy who put a train horn on his car, sometime in the mid 1950's. He was pacing an F unit pulling a passenger train along a highway. This guy starts blowing his train horn, trying to get the engineer in the F to reply. Well, the engineer was too well disciplined to participate in these antics. So the car driver decides to make one last attempt, the road is about to veer away from the tracks, so he blows the signal for "Extra Section". Tooting Extra Section demands a reply from an oncoming locomotive and that is just what happened. Coming the opposite direction was a big ol' steam locomotive (ever seen a small one?) pulling some freight. The steam engineer hears the horn signal, logically he thinks it's the oncoming F unit and replies with his whistle that he has heard the signal. There were no radios in steam locos, so there is no way to inform the steam engineer that it's a bogus signal. The road veers from the tracks and away speeds our much chagrined motorist. The article goes on to explain that the steam locomotive would then be required to stop at the next siding and await orders to continue. Certainly, causing much delay and confusion and certainly some tempers to flare up.
Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.

Just because they're not "street" legal, doesn't mean you can't put one on your vehicle and NOT use it ( or use it on private property ). It's probably illegal in most states, though.
