I Finally found a Snack Pack at a swap meet that is in decent condition!

I have seen them at shows/swap meets before,,usually in thrashed & abused condition. OR ruined by obvious very first attempts at "weathering". I am still trying figure out how the auto focus works on the camera!

My 2-for-1 of the week is this pair of Tyco / Mantua boxcars. The Baby Ruth is metal-sided, cost me $5. The Hershey I found missing a truck ( big deal, got tons ), guy said $1. Woo-hoo! Seen them sell on Ebay for 8-10 each plus shipping. Both came from the Timonium show this past weekend. Was hoping to buy a Hershey Model Power engine off Ebay, but got outbid. Will still try to get a candy train going this year somehow.

I'll have to get a Varney / Mantua consist, with the metal sided cars. I should be able to get a small one up , if I can find them all. More org, coming up!

Microbusss: I'll keep an eye out for one for ye! Which one? the CP or the Hunts Snack Pack? I'm still looking around for a few myself. Like the Campbells Soup, Popscicle,Green Giant, and the coffee hoppers. I'm a bit green of that Bachmann Chef Boyardee of yours,,been looking for one but never seem to spot them. Maybe next month i'll check out that monthly train show at the Du Page County fairgrounds near Chicago,,supposedly so big it fills 5 buildings.
I bet you're a bit like me,,almost got enough rolling stock to open a LHS! Look out MB Klein!
