I'll post a pic of this if we need to, but what I have is a built 50's era metal tank car - it's similar in construction to Athearn cars, but it's a chemical tank car which Athearn never did until they did it in plastic. It has a small dome that's offset to one side if you look down from the top. I suspect it's MDC, but I don't have a good resource to verify. It's lettered in the classic Baker's Chocolate scheme, which I think only Gilbert had done in that era.

Anyone know who would have made this? If not MDC... Ulrich? Not too many companies did metal and those that did didn't do many tank cars.

If the number on the car is 31058, it was made by Thomas Industries.
