I picked these up in a lot today, there are no markings on them.
1. steam engine, all metal and very heavy
2. old cars, I know the ones on the left are Varney, Marx and a Mantua. The ones on the right have no marking and are all meta except one whick is all woodl.

That loco looks like a Mantua kit that was painted blue. From what I can see of the motor that is the type used in my Mantua Berkshire. Also looks to have a simulare design in the way the under carriage and the boiler are made. If it is a Mantua then one of the pick ups will be the wire to the tender and the other in the wheels to the track.

Engine is what's left of a Tyco Baltimore & Ohio Pacific.
Caboose is either Athearn or AHM; NYC, Santa Fe and MP cars are Varney; metal gon may be Ulrich; Armour is a common Tyco car; green box car is either Marx or Hobbyline; I'd have to look at the custom painted boxcar and tank car closer to sort out what they are, but Athearn did a metal three dome tank if it is indeed a metal car.
