i have a ps4 loco of the southern railroad,which has the name banville,below the cab number,did they ever do this i believe it was not done by maker ken

I personally have not seen any photos that show a name below the road number on Southern locos. The Ps4 at the Smithsonian does not have a name below the road number. Far as I know, only passenger cars were given names. But, thats not conclusive information. It could have been done. By the way, is it Banville or Danville. Danville, VA was a Southern Railway station.

hi NC shortlines i have been thinking and looking at the loco and am convinced previous owner did it,the name is Banville,only time its been used was in a film called my name is khan which was set in the southern area and thats to modern for this loco,gonna remove it,many thanks ken
