Mine is a walthers trainline alco FA1/FB1. They pull like monsters, the Fa I got as a gift when I was like 10. I found it in a box about 3 years ago in my parents basement when I got back into trains. Only problem was a broken horn, so I replaced both of em with brass ones. The FB I got on ebay still new sealed in the box for like 4 bucks SCORE. Hopefully I can find another AB to lash up with them and then I am setting my sights on a pair of PROTO 2000'S in PRR Brunswick Green.

Nice find and good price for this one. The black ones are not easy to come by and yours is in good condition.

Damnit! I've been hunting a Trainline PRR FB unit forever haha. I do like how they run, very smooth for the price!
So now for a tale of two engines...
So at a show last year my friend bought the IHC Chessie SD24 you see in this picture. He got it for 20 bucks I think at a greenberg show? And there were more, and for some reason I passed on getting one myself. Time rolls by, IHC goes under and their take on the SD24 is usually a rare site at local shows. Making it worse was the fact I decided to start building a fleet of Chessie locomotives that never existed (since everyone and their mother used the Cheesie livery on something that they never owned in real life, why not collect them!). Low and behold IHC sorta opened their doors back up for business and had a few SD's left over to sell. My friend likes Chessie but is becoming a HUGE New York Central nut. I never even knew there was a NYC SD24 till I saw it on the site. So now, in a nice trade the Chessie now falls under my ownership and he gets a pretty sweet looking NYC unit out of the deal. We are both happy with how this worked out lol.
