I placed an order with these people on 3 Feb Changed it on the 11th did not hear a thing if they got my order or not. I just placed another order with then today. I got an e-mail from Lee English to let me know they did not want to deal with me. He told me to go somewhere else for my parts.
This really upset me as I have been honest with everyone I deal with and try to help as best I can.
Has anyone else had this kind of treatment with this guy??
What a way to run a business.
I always though in business the customer is always right and all orders were what made the business run. Did I miss something here!!!

Not nice. Get your money back and spend it elsewhere. They just lost a couple of customers.

If there's one thing that I cannot stand, it's bad customer service and poor treatment of customers. They're not the only supplier in this hobby with the wrong attitude.

The way that I see it, I don't need anything from any bad supplier for my hobby. It's only a hobby and if I can't find the item elsewhere, I'll do without.

Hey Ken:

Thats the whole thing? Pardon me but with no history between you that you mention, it makes no sense.

There must be more to this?

They (Bowser) banned me from buying parts from them. They screwed up my order, finally got it right. I returned some parts as they told me they had the key pieces in stock- they didn't..... so I couldn't use them. They wanted to charge me a 15% restocking fee. I told them that nowhere on their website or invoice was any mention of a 15% restocking fee. So they gave me a refund then banned me. I can only hope that a torando hits that place and scatters their parts and trains across 3 counties in PA.

Then there were some parts that I really needed so, I had a friend order them in October 2010. They charged his credit card but he is still fighting with them to get the parts.
He thinks he will be banned too......

I guess their sales must be really good for them to turn away business in this economy.

Hi Guys.
I am 73 years young and was in the retail business for years I or my staff never-never treated customers this way. This guy may be a great guy but hell will freeze over before I will buy from him again.I got along without him before this and I believe I can get along without him for the rest of my life.
I don't carry on like this but this guy peed me off big time.

I've never dealt with them online, only in person ( their store is in Montoursville, PA, only about 8 miles from my sister-in-law ), so I have been visiting there annually when my wife does her crafts at a Hot Air Balloonfest they did up until last year, as I could walk to it from the airport. They do have quite a bit of vintage stock, and vintage used stuff as well. They also moved the store into a new building, I guess they ran out of room? Amazing how much stuff they have, of course being a small manufacturer they need lots of room, I'd imagine. Anyway, never had a problem with them in person, just buying from them that way they were nice and helpful. Sorry you have had so much problems with mail order. Maybe they just don't know how to run that end of the business really well. I'd thought about ordering a Boxcab kit by Stewart from them, but preferred to wait until I was in person to actually see what I was buying. I'm not big on mail-order EXCEPT for Ebay ( since they have pictures, etc. ). If you ever did go there, you'd be impressed with their selection of detail parts and inventory, but I guess most of you never will make it there. I can only say that I never got a raw deal from them on anything new or used I bought there. Sorry your experiences are not so good.
