Here's my LifeLike 0-4-0 freshly painted. I'm going to let the paint harden before I reinstall the hand rails and do some detailing.

I really like that Bachmann 2-8-4. It reminds me of the engines they have at the museum here.
Here's my Tyco CP 0-8-0.

Very nice CP DaCheez. I find that one hard to get where I live. I do have one but it's not nearly as nice as yours, well, yours looks perfect, hard to beat that.

They're not common here either. I've seen a few of them on ebay, but this is the only one I've ever come across in real life. With all the other Tyco wrecks I've come across, I guess it's just luck that this one was in mint shape

This is my Mantua/Tyco Redbox F7. Its pretty much what got me back into trains. It was also my first detailing project. Future plans are more air hoses, a detailed crew with interior as well as working marker lights. I found it in an old box at a friends house about 3 yrs ago with the original box, ive been hooked ever since. Let me know what you guys think.

Nice mix of loco's this week. Digging the MTH & Tyco F-units. Amazing they both look similar and yet under the skin are probably worlds apart. Feeling artsy this week. We had everything running tonight on the rental layout. My poor C630 is lucky if it can even finish a lap so it sits on the sidelines. Still, being my first repaint I have a soft spot for this engine.

My loco of the week: latest release Athearn SP SW1500 with red/peeled lettering - paired with my vintage red letter GP7 from the early 60's for comparison. Larry
