That's a really neat story in that blog! I'm no expert, but the engine looks a lot like a flathead Ford to me.

You're right...the first was a Brill Model 30 and was such a success they built 2 more using Ford engines.

I picture a more post-apocalyptic version, but still that thing looks sweet. Looking forward to this conversion! Are you using anything besides the trucks and frame? It almost looks like you could just build a box around the trolley as-is (of course that would betray the interior but, it would be easy).
