I was supposed to be making this post about the hi-tech "engine shed" I made out of a piece of plastic off a wall-mounted swing-arm tray. I wanted to use my Playart high speed rail engine, but I couldn't find it, so I picked up my BN shark and used it to trial fit the hi-tech engine shed. Oh, and there's my Midnight Special shark, and why not put the all-metal Mantua T.Y.C.O shark on the rails as well...., so it's now a bit about the sharks as well as the shed. Dual purpose post. Anyway, while dumpster diving this week, I found two wall-mounted pivoting trays, and looking at the plastic covers for the brackets, I said Hmm.... so I grabbed them both. I opened them both up at work with the bandsaw, then cleaned up one tonight at home with a sanding disc. It's a VERY tight clearance, but an engine will JUST fit thru the opening. With the turbo train, the slope of the opening will match the engine front. I thought it would make a nice shed for the turbo. Wonder where I put it away? I'll find it. Anyway, thought you guys ( and gals? ) might like to see 3 of my sharks in one place.

Yes, it will need some sort of footer to raise the shed up JUST a bit. But that's ok, I can do that. I just wanted to see how it looked as a modern-day engine shed, and it seems to work. I'll just have to work it into the scenery some day.
