Here is the only terrible picture I have of this item. To the left of the photo, can anyone identify the yellow what looks to be a truck trailer with "RYDER" printed accross the rear.

Could this be a truck trailer from Tyco's US-1 ?? JohnnyKane? ...Anyone?

Hi Walt!

Yeah, that is an Aurora slot truck. Pretty cool that Aurora had a few permutations of these things sold either as the set or as individual pieces.

There were two styles of tractors-cab overs and conventionals. Trailers were mixed- flatbeds, containers, single vans, and doubles.

Here's a search of Ebay for the Ryder trucks...

FWIW- The Ryder trucks seem to have a cult following and are quite desirable among those who are into Aurora trucks.

I did see some AFX Aurora trucks at train show for $15 & the problem I see with Aurora trucks is unlike US-1 trucks they can only go one direction Least with US-1 you have two-way traffic Still Aurora has good race sets

JohnnyKane, Thank You! I knew you would be the one to answer the question..

MicroBen, The electric Slot car-Train Hobby critic... Larry King has retired from his show. I suggest that you apply for the opening!

I offered the AFX trailer on ebay & it sold for considerably more than I expected with the $1.25 shipping. Photo's on the ebay link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190484988924&ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT

I also sold a Tyco Tropicana Trailer for a lot more than I expected. Guess the 99 cent opening bid and the $1.25 shipping got 'em excited!
