What do you think is the most common things that get lost or missing from used trains? To me its couplers, wheels & brake wheels

Hey Buss ; I would think it is the foot strups at the bottom of the ladders that break off many models. frank

Smokebox fronts on steam locos. Next being the cab roofs of AHM GP18 locomotives.
Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.

| I find that often the Athearn Blue Box locomotives never have there hand rails applied so they are missing when I find them used. Also the detail parts that attach to the bottom of cars.

I have to agree with stirrup steps, especially on rolling stock. With locos it can be any fragile details, not to mention paint and decal loss.

| I'm also going to say the steps on rolling stock. Also the horns on nearly every AHM C-Liner I've ever seen.
