I am so-o-o happy to have found the TycoTrain website and this forum. I received my set in 1970 from my step-father for Xmas that year. I had always loved seeing a train set circling the bottom of the Xmas tree. Sorry, I'm not the year-round enthusiast. I bought buildings and thoroughly enjoyed assembling them. We would put up the set every year at home for a few years, then step-dad divorced mom, I got older and moved on. But I've had the set with me all these years. So, finally, this year I've pulled it all out to share with my adult daughters and their boyfriends. And I was curious what was going on with Tyco, so searched on the web and found this brilliant site. Thank you, Tony Cook, for all your hard work and enthusiasm.

Glad you're aboard with us, always good to have new folk join, and resurrect their old childhood trains, too. Post some pics sometime of your set, if you get a chance.

Thank you Jerry, burlington77, CamdenLine and Walt. I will take pics soon and post them. I have to say the most fun for me was putting together the buildings! Wish I could hang around more. Gotta get back to those "dreaded" responsibilities!
