What year did Tyco produce the first steam engine and what model was it?

Tough question to answer. All depends on when you call define Tyco as a separate company than Mantua. Also do you meen a Tyco only design or a Mantua one that they produced after splitting off. Mantua made multiple steamers. When Tyco split off they continued to make the same designs. Sadly they changed the boilers from cast metal to plastic. after this they started to have a few of their own designs. The variants of the Chattanooga tender drive 2-8-0 engines are uniquely Tyco. Those used a modified Power Torque.
