I just picked up one of these - a mint/brand new unassembled kit in its original crisp yellow box. Its a favorite for sure.

Oh Boy, did you open a jar of pickles!

Y'all like the Heinz cars huh? Well, how 'bout some of these B-E-A-U-T-I-E-S! All graphics are directly taken from the 1900-1920 cars.

I just love me some Heinz revenue cars! I've got the best pickle train going! Real Heinz cars!

Are them there Roundhouse cars?

They are great looking cars. I have a bunch of the Athearn and Revell, but I never saw those. I might have maybe 20 cars. Great set!

Thanks,

You won't find any of these at any train show. They are all custom made. The 36' cars are MDC Roundhouse cars that have been stripped, repainted, and decaled. The Pickle/Vinegar cars are Athearn's that have received the same treatment.

I'm a Heinz fiend. I am having about another dozen Heinz cars made up to complete the set. That will make a complete pickle train for the ages!

I'd love to have a Mt Olive car to go with my US-1 truck.

SABR- did you make the decals or did some one else? They look fabulous!
