Here is a Car I have not seen. Made by Varney for EH Model & Hobbies Philadelphia, PA Made in the 1950's.. I have seen other EH Cars. But, Not one made by Varney ... I picked it up at the show this past sunday... Interesting The Car was not painted in the Hopper Bay.. There was some overspray also.. Usually That would mean it was to have a Coal Or Covered Insert on the Car. I could not find any info on this car, so I do not know for sure which it came with... So here is a picture of it with both...

| That IS as interesting as it is illegible (faded yellow on gunmetal blue?! Ze Goggles, zhey do nothing!) How many other E&H cars are you aware of? I have the Tyco 50 foot boxcar, and the rare Tyco 40-foot boxcar which is a Rutland car painted in E&H colors. Of the two, the 40 foot one seems to have come first... would be interesting to know where this hopper fit in.

I have posted this here before. This is a Varney hopper about 32 foot. It is covered. And it is the E&H Hobby shop car factory detailed by Varney for E&H hobbies
