This one came in an ebay lot. It doesn't run now, but as soon as I get a suitable motor I'm going to fix that.

Very clean GE unit, eaglerock. Don't have any sound engines myself, will look into it if when I go DCC. B77, I Know that's an Alco RS-something but is it AHM?
Took this shot last night:
Millicent Othmar just makes the late post as Reading Consolidation 983 prepares for the 22:15 mail run. IHC's Premier 2-8-0 is indeed a variation of their 0-8-0 model but different enough to be worthwhile. Appropriately, it also runs faster than my GN shifter and generally promises to be an excellent, all purpose steam locomotive.
P.S. Please excuse the lens flare. Still figuring out this night shooting lark!

Nice stuff guys...
Dunno if I ever posted this one, a pristine swap meet find, a 70s Bachmann that actually runs pretty good. I just go ducky over its chunky looks...

Here's a set of demos you don't see every day... and sadly won't ever again:

Alco Century 628 Demonstrators, released by Model Power. Stumbled into two sets of MIB Powered + Dummy pairs at The Golden Spike over the weekend. One set is spoken for by a member. The other I hope to upgrade a bit.
Say what you want about Model Power / Tempo diesels... they're a little chunky and slightly clunky, but I have to give Model Power credit for including spare couplers in the box. Oh, how often I'd have killed for spare couplers when I was just a lad...

I'm happy to share my shiny new BNSF GP38-2. It is from the atlas trainman line. I'm thrilled with it so far. It is so refreshing to have an engine I don't have to nudge all the time when it mysteriously stops.

Also, nice C430 AF Kid. Nice to see a engine in the SF freight colors. I remember my TYCO train set came with all freight cars and a GP30 painted in passenger service colors. Weird.

Nice SF, AF kid. I think I've mentioned it before, but I "collect" Santa Fe. Basically I buy any different loco I can find.
I also "collect" BN, so BNSF is obviously one of my new favorites. Nice loco, CamdenLine. I've got an Athearn that I keep thinking about putting up for LOTW, but then I opt for something more "vintage." Personally, I can't stand that new speed lettering or whatever they call it. I like the heritage paint schemes, with the BNSF in SF font and the shield logo on the nose. Plus it's all in GN colors, so it's one big happy family.

The GN colors are really great. I live very close to where the GN Hustle Muscle is stored and it is a thing of beauty restored to original paint. I need to snap some photos for everyone here some time.

| Not that anyone cares, but Green and Orange are also the school colors where I work. I keep thinking that will come in handy some day, but it doesn't.

My C430 is a very hard engine to find as it was made only in 1981/82 according to GIC's website. I fell asleep and missed the auction. For some reason (the seller wouldn't tell me) it was relisted and I got it the second time a week later. It was the only I have ever seen on Ebay.
I like the merger railroad colors. I have been trying to find the Athearn "Koda Chrome" red/yellow engines but I don't have the funds right now. Do you have any -9's in the BNSF colors?

| Probably no cabooses were made that way. Remember they were phased out on the real railroads for the EOL marker on the last car.

I've got an Athearn BNSF caboose. You don't see many of those rolling around in real life either.

At one time, I had one of these EL switchers. I have one one that has been custom painted for a Missouri Pacific type. I've had this one since 1991.
