After Saturdays train show I did a little homework on the Zenith cars I found. I know the loco is a Bachmann, the cars are Mehano or IHC. All the cars are stamped made in Slovania, which makes me tink of Mehano/IHC.
I found a few pics of the Bachmann set and what I believe is the Mehano/IHC.

need the tank car, red & white boxcar, gondola, container flatcar & the loco Hope to get lucky on Nov 6th All I have is the Zenith AVI boxcar & caboose

Interesting sets, eaglerock. The steam engine was an odd choice by Mehano for The Zenith Ltd since the consist seems so 70's. Any idea how popular these sets were?

oh I'd bet they abit rare & probably distributed to Zenith TV dealers only Like the RCA set that shows up here on occasion

Tykowolf, Some of the info suggests they were rare, the Bachmann set looks like an 80's release. Not sure on the other. The Buss might be correct on the distribution, info on the net says the Bachmanns have cert of authenticity and were given to Zenith distributors.

SEE?? I am right! As was this Crosley car Found this in its current shape in a dumpster

Need a better one I knows I seen this at Crosley dealers in the 1990s in a Life-Like train set
