Ok, I've recuperated enough to take more pics and post now. Sucks getting old, my feet hurt a bit this morning, but the hot tub helped quite a bit last night.
Anyway, on with it. I'll start with the HO train stuff first. First up, the cars -

Group shot of all the HO cars I bought. From $2 to 4 each.

The car with the entire metal bottom has FB101A imprinted in it. Not sure who made these, no other marks. But with metal centers, I'm sure they're not Tyco.
Here's the HO Tyco Turbo Train, just needs a shoe to fix it up.

Here's a group shot of all the (loose) diecasts I bought. Got a blisterpack Johnny Lightning AMC Rebel Machine as well.

As for non-rolling items, here's some emblems and other items I bought -

I like that GG1 beltbuckle. $7. Gremlin gas cap, $5 ( a steal ).
Now, on to bigger gauges. Lionel searchlight car, $15 -

I like it. Next, to the unknowns. #204 engine, no stamp anywhere on it. This shell is HEAVY, so gotta be pre-war.

Next, the red engine, for $20, I think the guy said it was American Flyer, but the wheel spacing is the same, or close by fractions, to the Lionel searchlight car. I thought the spacing wasn't that close between S and O. Anyway, if anyone knows what it might be, let me know -

I'm not sure whether to search on Boxcab or electric, no pantagraphs, but looks more like an overhead than a diesel. Opinions?
Next up is the LASER set, probably not Lionel, but looked neat.

Neat set, but wasn't blowing my money up front on 3-rail stuff. Oh well. Maybe it'll be there next year.
Here's a pic of an AF set of passenger cars.

There were several other trains I could have taken pics of, both S gauge and Lionel O gauge, but I passed. I was tired by that point. But if you're into trains, Hershey meet definitely brings some out.
Oh, yeah, here's the slot car track. Tyco and AC Gilbert. Looks like the Gilbert will allow me to make a 4-lane oval. :)

Hope you enjoyed the picture show. I think I got some deals there, and neat stuff. Wish I could have covered more ground, but we did a lot in 6 hours time. I didn't even eat lunch! It was walk and shop, shop and walk. I need to spend 3-4 days up there one year.

Jerry, if it's Flyer it would be pre-war O scale, which they made before S. Someone repainted it, obviously. I would post it to the Classic Toy Trains forum on Trains.com. They should be better acquainted with pre-war Flyer.
Ben, enough with the threats of violence, even in jest.

Ow! Ow! I hurt ENOUGH already! The yellow and white bus is a Playart, the other a Majorette. I'm starting to collect Playarts ( trains included, yes ), and this is my first bus I found. Missing the doors on the other side, though. But I will use it for an airport tour bus, so won't need doors. :) Yes, Arlin should have the M...but the vendor didn't have it with him. They're common enough to find, apparently. I just wanted the fish. That's my 2nd Thrill show caboose, I intend to make an AMC train consist with it ( there used to be a real Thrill show with AMC Javelins, which is what I"ll base this set on ). So I'll be looking for more of those cabooses as the sleeper cars between boxcars for hauling the cars in.

The Laser set IS Lionel, but it is a cheapie DC powered set. I'm surprised it has a 130.00 price though, sounds way too high for that set.

Yup, Lesney originals were all over . The trucks tend to be more realistic enough to use compared to some of the cars, far as scale goes. These were 25 cents each. Not paying 5-10 dollars for them for railroad use.

The buses are harder to find than the cars, and even THEY are hard to find ( Playart ). Wish y a luck with that.
The pepsi truck has sides that lift like gull-wing doors. I've seen the standard molded 1-piece before, but hadn't seen this style with the sides that lift up. I wanna see the ARMS on that lil HO guy !!!!

| I didn't realize the Lionel LASER set was DC. I saw one at a flea market last month for $150. I'd love to have it, but that's more than I want to invest on it. I'm not above dropping that kind of money, but I better get a whole lot more for my money. I guess I'm stuck in the "quantity over quality" phase of collecting.
