OK all,
It says Lindberg on the bottom, other than that I have no idea what it is.
It had three coats of paint on it, and some kind of band drive.
Pulled it apart to strip, clean, and rebuild it, now I'n afraid to put it back together again

Here it is all in all its glory

Cheers, Ian

Thank you Ken!
I knew Lindberg made plastic models, but I really had no idea they were into trains as well.

Funny thing is; I've contributed only a few scans to HoSeeker and Ken picked one of them here-"JGE"
It's an interesting unit. I have one when rebuilt I'll paint as a Raritan River RR as an`omage to having lived in and loved New Jersey.

I'm not 100% sure, but when I stripped the old paint off, the colors resembles a Chicago Northwestern switcher.
I'd like to redo it with that scheme.

Ha, I love the distressed look as is. It looks like a well used old switcher in bad need of a paint job but owned by a company that doesn't want to spend the money. Plenty of those beasts around in real life.
