Wooooh, look at the shiny boxes! 
New King Coal is a grandiose MetalTrain birthday bundle from my folks who know nothing about model trains. No doubt collusion was involved for the co-ordinated presents this year which have dramatically boosted my roster. I guess my loved ones have finally realized my hobby is not just a passing fad.
Whatever the case, this set is amazing. The Model Power F7's are plenty strong enough to haul the seven metal cars and I plan to add more Pennsy hoppers once my remaining IHC sets are all paid for. Special mention for the rightly famous Old Coal Mine, still as imposing today as it was in any Tyco catalogue though who knows where I'm gonna put the darn thing! But I care not for at last I have a proper coal train and life is of the grand.
