Hey all,
New to the forum. Hoping to learn a little about old Tyco locomotives, as I have a few.
I model N scale, mostly HO, and some O. I also build scale models, mostly 1/48th scale jets.
This is my second train forum and I hope to learn something new
Cheers, Ian

You can learn a little, or a lot, on this forum. Welcome to it, Ian! Post plenty of pics, as people here like that ( hope you have a good camera, not a cell phone. LOL! ) Are they "old" as in metal type, or "old" as in years? The Forum covers all flavors.

Hey all, just joined. Picked up some train stuff at a consignment store. Hope to learn a few things from those that are long time members on set ups and so forth.

Welcome aboard, Pete, and hope your "new" trains are rail-worthy. If not, the forum members can probably give you good info on fixing them. Post pics if you can. Easy to do, the little white box at the far right , 2nd row, under Format when you are posting the message, is the Attachment icon. Just follow the directions.

Wow! Two new members. Welcome both of you! Running/restoring/maintaining Tyco and other old trains can be a great hobby. I think you'll find this forum is unlike others in that we don't judge the quality of people's collections. You'll find crusty old Tyco's alongside the latest digital wonder machines, all equally cherished and welcomed. Ask questions and post pictures! I know that I for one love to see what other people have.
