I thought about doing some dumpster-cam shots of my own, but the 100 degree heat we've had has left my trash cans a little ripe.

Hey Buddy! My son has this engine and tank car plus a caboose and some more cars of this type. He's into the military stuff. his 4x8 layout is a war scene.

Just bought this Alco C-415 on Ebay, misspelled description might have helped me get it, but still almost got outbid at the last minute. :) But didn't. Thanks to our Aussie member, I now have a new ugly engine to collect, which will fit right in with the BL-2's I have. Only 26 ever made 1:1, not a popular diesel, but still an interesting design. A throwback to earlier era in safety design with cab in the middle for protection.

I like the early BN color scheme, since I already have a BN consist planned, this will also fit in with that as well.

| That C-415 is sweet. This isn't a loco that I was familiar with until recently.

Haha! The GIJoe sets are so corny, I love 'em! And I much prefer Tyco's take on an Amtrak GG-1 over the Bloody-nosed prototype. Great piece, Mike.
Bit late this week but even so Yippie kye aye, my first Mikado!
This 2-8-2 birthday gift is another Chinese made IHC-Mehano and probably the smoothest running steam engine I own. Came just in the nick of time to as I was running low on locos for LOTW! What can you say about a Mikado? It's a classic, pure and simple. Get one today.
