The package doesn't specify the scale of these lights.

The spotlights measure 1.75" tall. That makes them roughly 12.5' high in scale. Could these be HO scale? I'm not too familiar with spotlights except for the one they used to summon Batman. That one was pretty big.

Scale or not, the Batman thing convinced me I should buy them. I'm going to paint the lenses black with the Batman logo kept clear. Then I will mount them on top of my tallest building shining up on the ceiling. A pc fan mounted at the bottom of the skyscraper can blow upwards past a few smoke generators to create a cool fog above.

Too cool.

Are they the same pieces as used on the spotlight flat car?

LOL fair enough. I love the Batman idea BTW! Would make my dad proud. I actually do have a real, HO-scale Batman (and Robin, Catwoman and Harlequinn) staking out my own layout!

My CN coil car lot includes that Life-like spotlight car, so I guess the answer is coming at the speed of Canada Post...

Thanks, I saw that car last night doing a search for batman in general. Seems pricey to me. When I came up with idea I mentioned above I didn't even think about that item. I also have a kit of the Batplane from Polar Lights (Aurora). That will be incorporated into this also. My daughter is 11 going on 30 so I think I can get her stuff out of the basement soon. I would love to do all this with my youngest son who just turned 6. I don't want to one day say, wow I should have.

I actually won this item! The batman concept will eventually materialize, it's just too cool.

I think I have those same exact two figures on the flat car. They were in a set made in 1997 I think... like those Micro Machines figure sets that were available for a short time. I'd have to find the package but have no idea where it is.

Shouldn't be too hard to make your own "bat-symbol" cutout and tape to a spotlight...

In fact, that is such a cool idea, I might have to swipe it from you and do that to the spotlight car I have coming ;)

Now I have to watch Batman and figure out if I black out the bat or the surrounding silhouette. ???
