Hi, My brother and I just spent a week trying to test out this train set and set it up again but
too many parts are missing. Quite frankly for the purpose of selling it can the Auto Track ever
be repaired if almost all of the small tabs, but not the large tabs are broken? Is there a fix?

And should the multimeter go from dead to full voltage, shouldn't it be variable when testing
the transformers?

Any info about the track fix would be appreciated! I will check back.

Hey Booboo, The TycoPro track is very unpopular due to the common tab breakage problem. They make "repair clips" that snap on the underside of Tyco (and other) slotcar track to hold pieces together that are missing tabs. There are several sets of clips on ebay right now now. I have in the past used CA plastic glue to bond two pieces, leaving the ends with tabs out.
As for selling the TycoPro track don't get too excited. It hardly sells at all even with good tabs on it. I believe people like the newer Tyco Slot track that doesnt have the serious tab issue.

However, I like the tycoPro track and have always used it. I have quite a collection of good tabbed track now...

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know! We're getting rid of the whole thing. Last year I had a Lionel I sold, I was really having fun with that but the Tyco isn't comparable. If I make reference to
the tab fix in my sale, you aren't going to want a cut? RU?

Booboo, I have a quick link here showing the Tyco repair clips on ebay. No, I don't want a cut.

Is your set a Tyco Road & Rail with both trains & slot cars?

Yes, it took forever to figure that out. Until I found a picture of the outer box in an online
auction, which we no longer have, my brother forgot having it as a child.
