Here it is... My "Overnite" Hauler!

- Shortened trailer frames and axle frames modified to accept a dolly
- Custom dolly made from spare axle frame
- TYCO Union Pacific piggyback trailer bodies (el cheapos) painted in automotive paint
- Custom painted Night Haulers semi


Pictures coming soon-
- Customized piggyback flat car that accepts slot trailers. Flat car is done.
- Custom painted overhead loader that uses US-1 accessory station track. Paint is 70% complete.

Very nice! I like the Duplicolor paint on the trailers. The lacquer dries with no shine leaving the trailers looking very realistic

I do plan on building a permanent layout at some point. We just don't have the room right now. In the next house we are looking for a basement. My wife wants a craft space and I want a layout.

My vision is to have a road and rail layout where the trains and trucks load each other. The piggyback loader and textile mill will integrate well into box cars and TOFCs.

That would be pretty awesome. I've seen some nice layouts where slotcars and trains are combined. Having the trucks and trains interact with each other would take it to a whole new level Good luck and post some pics once you get started!
