never thought of the humidity factor, our basement is humid. Bought a dehumidifier years ago One month ater got the electric bill , took back the dehumidifier
I like the foam for reasons i gave above. I'm afraid without plywood underneath I'll be leaning out working on something and forget i have foam and stick my hand through it.

naah you're fine I never take things including model railroading serious *huggies* Sides I can't paint or detail nothing anyway Rather have that done for me
