Nice! I don't think I've seen a gold mining accessory before - good post! That's a Tyco?

My next accessory isn't as cool as the gold mining dumper. But it is more basic and functional. Your classic Piggyback flatcar and trailers :

Another pristine piece I got from somewhere, long forgotten now. Here's the inside :

Now, back to storage.

Hi All,
I really like the old packaging! I don't have any that old but I do have a couple accessory kits. Here is the brown box version of the "Freight unloading box car". The car is not damaged though the box is smashed. I also have the brown box version of the "Log dump car".
Thanks for sharing.

Hey, Mike, what does the box car contact in the back? I think it has contacts for something, I've got a couple of the boxcars, but no switch nor platform? engagement device, I don't know what else goes with the rest of the boxcar - can you get a picture of that and post it, please? Thanks!

Hi AMC_Gremlin_GT,
All my accessory packs are still sealed, but I did manage to find the part that makes contact with the box car in my loose parts box. I'm not sure if they came in other colors or not. This one is missing the bin that catches the items that come out of the freight cars. The first picture is a close up of the contacts.
I hope this helps.
Mike

Oh, yeah, that helps a lot, thanks Mike. Now I know what to look for in the train show junk boxes when I'm scrounging thru them. You always see the car, but I've never seen the mechanism that makes it all work. BIG help! Much appreciated! Love this Forum, people are so helpful....
