Haven't seen an Accessory posting area, so I'm starting one. My basement clean-up has yielded up 2 more Tyco Union 76 gas stations I'd forgotten about, one's a red-roofer, the other is blue. The red roof is very dirty, with the paper? labels around it, I will have to be careful cleaning it up with soap and water.

I might get one mostly whole and complete one between the two blue roofed units. I'll still keep all 3, will make different scenes for each one, so I can change them out in any diorama I create, to keep it fresh. Anyway, enjoy the "scenery". Lets see if others post to this.

I thought that rather cryptic ending would catch somebody's eye...
I'm moving out the last of my brass pieces, it's neat to own but, in the end, I just like to run stuff. Based on what I've seen this sell on Ebay for, I've put together a list of locos I'd swap for;
AHM/Rivarossi 4-6-6-4 Challenger " 3 truck Heisler Bowser PRR 4-4-4-4 T-1
...any one of those would be cool, though the Challenger is admittedly on the high end. Being from the UK, I would add a 45mm gauged Mamod 0-4-0 SL1 or the like in good used condition as well but, that is probably pushing the high end also...alas, sigh, swoon...one can dream...

UPDATED POST OF RED ROOF UNION 76 STATION
Ok, I gently soaked the nasty gas station in a shallow pan last night, keeping the water off the upper paper labels as best I could. Cleaned up rather nicely for being in such cruddy condition ( see first photo in this post with 3 gas stations ). Some gentle toothbrushing of the plastic got most of the grime off. The plastic is yellowed in back, might have been in sunlight at some time. Otherwise a decent cleanup effort.

I've never had this station and I don't have room for it now. Are the cars & pumps glued on from the factory? Looks like an excessive amount of glue used on them...

Yes, they're factory-glued. I believe the later (blue-roofed) units didn't have them glued down (cars), so you could move them about. My two blue units have no glue on the indentations where the tires fit, nice and clean, so I think they stopped doing that later. I kind of like the early two-pump set-up, but they deleted one , I guess for space reasons. The serviceman also changed, the blue version has a walking guy, the early red version has a hose and a guy holding it.
