Went to roundhouse in Cheyenne,WY today got a mound of pix as I promised



this is a UP 2-10-2 & ONLY one in existance

this is ME! next to one of their snowplows


this is either parts for 844 or 3985

Once again, I missed this.

Cool stuff, Micro. I didn't know UP had a 2-10-2 preserved. If only one of their triple-lung 4-12-2's had been saved, but I guess we'll just have to be satisfied with with models of them.

You and TOR are lucky to live so close to the Cheyenne roundhouse. If I were in 3985's presence, I'd probably feel the need to bow down, or sacrifice a rubber chicken or something.

Hey, interesting photos microbusss! My favourite is the UP 2-10-2 first up with Vanderbilt tender, so very . There is one of these in a bundle on lay-by with my name on it, only two payments to go - w00t!!

The turntable shot is also super groovy because I love cabeeses to pieces.
