Well, I decided to dig deep and head into my attic storage this morning, which meant moving quite a few things in FRONT of the access doors. But I finally got inside, and liberated my HO trains that I had stored there when I moved into the house 10 years ago. I remembered some of them, but not others, so it was a journey of rediscovery on my part. I have different pics, of my Tyco, my AHM, and my misc. "other" brands. So, here goes ...

These are all my Tyco brown box cars I bought as a young boy. Some have K & K, Woolco, and other price stickers on them, around 99 cents or $1.29 on sale. I found out I have the Coke long tanker, didn't remember that one at all. I remember buying the Virginian coal cars, the Arco tankers, and for some reason the Illinois Central cars because I liked the design and color.
Here's my AHM and Athearn cars, some have prices as low as 99 cents. I know I usually bought them after Christmas, when the leftovers went on sale. Most of my buys were after-Christmas specials.

These are my late teen year acquisitions, as I started getting more sophisticated and interested in more complex railroad cars. The Lillliput cars and Lima engine I BELIEVE I bought in Switzerland or Germany, I went over in '78 on an Easter vacation school class trip, and had several hundred in spending money ( from my lawn cutting empire ), so I bought a pantograph-equipped Swiss? Loco, a French passenger car, and a MOW? caboose. I think this was my very first Passenger car I ever bought. Definitely the first pantograph locomotive I had, since I never saw any in the USA ( although I live in the same state as the Virginian railroad, which had E33's with electric pantographs).
I have my C&O Switcher somewhere else, I think it burned up, I think in another storage area. I also had one of those GE centercabs that also quit working. I think those were my only two HO loco's I had back then. I guess when I find my other HO stuff, I'll find out which other engines I had, if any. I do remember those two.
Hope you enjoyed seeing my stuff, I know I have (again). LOL.Been quite awhile since I stored it away, I'll have to run a consist on my 4x4 test layout sometime this summer. All for now,
Jerry

Yes, I own 2 full-size '57 Chevy 4-door sedans, one was my very first car I drove in High School, and it's in a garage in storage, until I can remotor it again. So I've got quite a collection of 57 chevy related diecast, models, T-shirts, etc. from my early years of collecting. I still do collect '57 chevy diecast and other items, just not as much now.

Yes, you do. I had some of my early Ebay diecast purchases stored away in a big box, so I also pulled that out to go thru, put away in 1999 and hasn't seen the light of day since. I collect more AMC diecast these days than '57 Chevy, but I still love them both. I hope to display the AMC stuff somewhere in my house this year.

The 57 Chevy is one of my favorite cars! I like those expensive convertibles with the frame off restorations. What an automobile!
