How about we do a Plasticville thread? Thought it'd be neat to see what old or new ones y'all have
got this at train show for $6
Don't you think it abit odd Bachmann would use a Tyco trailer & the NorthAmerican Moving truck? I think the flatcar is a Tyco too

Hey Ben! The truck trailer Company name on the side was not offered by Tyco. I'm not sure the truck trailer mold is even tyco. I lean towards no.
You know, of all the buildings that I have I can comfortably say I have no Plasticville ones. I would have to look to be sure but the most I could have would be 1. I'm thinking of one kit that I can't remember who made it. I will look tonight....

I have the gas station. I painted it but kept the colors the same as it was molded in. I also added a smoke stack the one that looks like a T from a tyco kit. My layout is supposed to represent a small town at a crossroads so I put the gas station right in the middle.

OK Ben, I had a Bubble Yum trailer on the computer table when I posted last. The trailer pictured is square & bulky oppossed to the (like you said) smoother Tyco issue...

I know at least three of the buildings on my current layout are Plasticville. They've been painted over the years, but they're still recognizable. I'm mildly concerned by the fact that I still have the boxes for them

Hey Cheez, I have all my boxes saved and wrapped. Most of them have small extra detail pieces like the Tyco Center Street kit come with so much of...

Hey Walt. I'm pretty sure most of my boxes are empty. I'm just a packrat

That's cool too Cheeze! In my opinion, the boxes are a part of the kit. I'm one that keeps train car boxes & Tyco lighted items blister packs, etc... I must be a packrat too!!
