Seen them on Ebay, UP is up frequently, the Mine not so much. Usually in a lot, though.

According to the AHM 1975 catalog there were 6 Helium Carrier Cars made. So far we have pictures of 5 of the 6. Anyone have the Wabash The list is: 5423-B Union Pacific #UP 4625 5423-C Dept Of Mines #MHAX 1200 5423-D Atomic Energy Comm. (AEC) #ATMX 1020 5423-E Southern Pacific #SP 1000 5423-F Wabash #WAB 3456 5423-G New York Central #NYC 1873
There is a eBay auction for the Wabash Car. The Wabash Car is Silver with Blue Lettering, and Black Roof Walk..
I have a Dept. of Mines Car. But, It doesn't have a Black Roof Walk Like Frank's or any of the other Cars. . It is All Silver. Also My Roof Walk is straight down the middle, no side pieces at the ends by the ladders So I guess If There is one Variation There could be More. Carl

Well, loose about $10, I've seen them go higher in original boxes lately on Ebay. Sometimes get a better deal buying a small lot with one of them in it. The red one is the least common I've seen, the yellow the most. Therefore, the red one usually sells for more, and the yellow one for least, from my viewing experiences. While I have 10-15 already ( ballpark figure ) I watch to see what the prices they are sellng for are, for fun. I've seen some boxed ones sell over $20 each, and loose in a lot, for less than $10. Haven't seen many silver ones lately, but they used to be more common.
