I'm gonna guess the seller is a woman since everything on the Ebay page and user name is about "baking". I know that people find things they are unfamiliar with that has an older timeline, and automatically think it's very valuable. I've done it myself only to find out otherwise. No bad intent on the seller here, it's always fun to see these not so practical listings

I agree, I've seen some Ebay sales lately where there was some unrealistic expectations such as a huge lot of Tyco recently, REALLY huge, but they wanted like $700 to start! Nothing of super high quality, but these were all never used, but for what they showed, it wasn't worth but maybe $250 tops. I even emailed the seller (lady), who said they were all like new, and why weren't they worth that? I Watched it, for fun, and it never sold ( of course ). Yes, some pieces were probably worth $10-20 each, but the rest, nowhere close. But you're right, it's fun to watch them NOT sell sometimes. :)
